A resort delivery is governed by the property's receiving desk. A condominium usually needs the building name and unit, and often a concierge who will accept on the resident's behalf. A private villa may sit behind a gate that only opens if the owner has told security to expect someone. A marina delivery needs the vessel name and the berth, and needs the crew to be aboard.

Flowers that hold up in island conditions

Heat and salt air are hard on cut flowers, particularly on an open dock or a terrace. Tropical material such as ginger, anthurium and birds of paradise handles those conditions far better than delicate garden varieties, and hydrangeas last best when they go straight into an air-conditioned room.
